David A. Caputo received his BA (Phi Beta Kappa) from Miami University and his PhD (Political Science) from Yale University (Woodrow Wilson Fellow). He taught at Purdue University from 1969 to 1995. While at Purdue he received fellowships from The National Science Foundation, the Lilly Foundation and the Fulbright Association. He served as President of Hunter College, CUNY (1995-2000) and Pace University (2000-2007). His current title is President Emeritus Pace University. He has served as an elections analyst and commentator for ABC News, News Election Service (Midwest Coordinator), Fox News, CNN, The Financial Times, USA Today and a variety of local radio and television news outlets. He continues to teach election courses (on-line, in class and hybrid) at Colorado State University. He continues his election commentary.
